Valley Electric, Inc. was founded in Alamosa, Colorado, which continues to be the location of our corporate headquarters. Alamosa (Spanish for "shaded by cottonwoods") is located in south-central Colorado on the Rio Grande in the San Luis Valley. Local attractions include hot springs, Great Sand Dunes National Park, the Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad, the Rio Grande Scenic Railroad, and much, much more.
